Held over the first weekend of May, the Coomealla Memorial Club and Bendigo Bank Pooncarie Desert Dash will see crews tackle more than 400 kilometres across the weekend.

Following on from Prologue, where crews will take on the 10km short course to secure a strong starting spot, the eventโ€™s first section will run in the afternoon with one lap of the 100km course.

Participating crews will then complete the eventโ€™s remaining 300 kilometres during the three-lap second section on Sunday, with the leading crew to start at 9am local time.

In order to help crews complete the challenging 300km final day, crews will have to take a compulsory 45 minute service break before starting their final lap of the day.

Hosted by the Sunraysia Motor Sport Club, interested AORC and KINCROME SXS Motorsport Australia Championship crews have until 5pm on Friday 29 April to enter.

Entries received before Monday 18 April will be able to take advantage of the Early Bird fee, while those submitting their entry after the date will have to pay the full fee.

Like many Motorsport Australia events, crews will now have to complete their own Scrutineering Form, which can be downloaded here.

The 2022 Coomealla Memorial Club and Bendigo Bank Pooncarie Desert Dash takes place in Pooncarie on 6-8 May.
