West Australian Off Roaders can look forward to another strong year of state competition, with the Carnarvon Motel West Australian Off Road Racing Championship (WAORC) announcing a six round calendar for 2019.
The 2019 Championship will kick off with the Perenjori 360 on 1-3 March, in Perenjori, 350 kilometres north east of Perth.
Competitors will then head north to Carnarvon for the Gascoyne Dash on the Easter long weekend, 19-21 April, before the Bencubbin 360, held on the WA Day long weekend of 1-2 June.
Round four will be the Mid West Challenge at Badgingarra on 17-18 August, followed by the Three Springs 360 on 28-29 September.
The finale will be held at the Kalgoorlie Desert Race, on 26-27 October.
A competitors best five rounds count for the championship, the points system used usually sees outright and class winners fighting it out at the final round of the season.
The WAORC continues to be one of the strongest off road race series in Australia, in no small part to the hard work of Off Road Racing WA Incorporated, WA Off Road Racing Association, Western Desert Racers and Gascoyne Off Road Racing Club in putting together the events.
