While the 2020 Cobb & Co Hotel St George 399 will not be running this weekend as planned, the BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship will be giving fans the opportunity to soak up all things St George online this weekend.
Over the course of the originally scheduled event and beginning on Friday night, a special Watch Party will take place on Facebook at 8pm each night, showcasing the previous three years of the championship’s opening round.
A Facebook Watch Party is one of the social media platform’s newest features, allowing groups to have a public screening of pre-recorded videos, with group members able to watch and comment on the video at the same time in a shared viewing experience.
The Watch Party will begin on Friday 3 April at 8pm AEDT with the 30-minute program of the 2017 event, before 2018 is broadcast at the same time on Saturday night.
With daylight savings ending for participating states on Sunday morning and clocks to be pushed back one hour earlier, the 2019 episode will air on Facebook at 8pm Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
The St George 399 Watch Party will be occurring on the BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship’s Facebook page at 8pm Eastern time each night on 3-5 April.
