Price in for SXS final

Motor sport legend Toby Price has officially confirmed his entry for the SXS Grand Final taking place on Saturday, 20 October in Broadford, Victoria.

Price’s second entry in the category follows on from a sensational debut in July, where the five-time Finke Desert Race Bike champion claim the round victory.

Price will be going into the SXS Final full of confidence after recently being crowned the Federation Internationale de Motocyclisme’s World Rally Champion in Morocco.

“To win the world championship with a win here in Morocco makes it all that little bit sweeter,” Price said post-race.

“This is my first world championship in any category so I am so happy.”

While the 31-year-old may not be in the running for the SXS championship, his confirmation for the Grand Final is certain to add a little spice to the championship results.

The SXS title is currently a two-horse race between Simon Evans and Brett Cominsky with round two winner Stephen Henry the dark horse to steal a victory.

Evans currently sits on 302 points, while Cominsky trails Evans by 20 points and Henry sits a further six points behind.
