The Sunraysia Motorsport Club has released the finalised schedule for this weekend’s Coomealla Memorial Club and Bendigo Bank Pooncarie Desert Dash.
A record field of 75 crews are entered in the second round of the BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) and will have four laps on the 100-kilometre course spread across Saturday and Sunday.
The action begins on Saturday morning at 10:30am AEST with Prologue to set up the event’s first section, which will start at 2:30pm and will be run for a maximum two hours and 15 minutes.
On Sunday, crews will tackle the remaining three laps with the second section to begin from 8:30am, while the first car is expected to finish around 1pm local time.
Crews must note that the second section requires them to have a 45-minute compulsory pitstop after completing their second lap before undergoing their third and final lap.

On Friday afternoon, crews will also participate in a special car display at the Coomealla Club where fans can see their cars up close and personal before the event gets underway.
