Loveday entry list building

With less than one day remaining until entries close, crews interested in competing in this month’s Can-Am Loveday 400 are encouraged to make sure they get their entry secured.

So far, 69 crews have entered the fourth round of the BFGoodrich Motorsport Australia Off Road Championship (AORC) with a number of the top contenders leading the charge.

Crews have until 11:59pm on Friday 15 July to enter and can do so here

At the top of the list of those who have entered so far is current championship leader Jake Swinglehurst and Coomealla Memorial Club and Bendigo Bank Pooncarie Desert Dash winner Ryan Taylor, as has nine-time AORC champion Shannon Rentsch will also make his return there and WA star Beau Robinson.

In addition to a number of national crews, there is a fair share of local talent itching to pit themselves against the best in Australia, including Aaron Haby, who has dominated this event in recent times.

There is also a large representation in the KINCOME SXS Motorsport Australia Championship with 32 of the 69 entered crews behind the wheel of a SXS UTV.

All SXS crews are eligible to receive a special KINCROME Metric and Imperial 39 piece 3/8” Drive Socket set as a gift for entering.

Event organiser Tony Whateley was thrilled with the numbers so far.

“We’re really happy with where entries are at and to have 69 registered has definitely exceeded our expectations,” Whateley said.

“To already have the number we do and a few more on their way is really good for not just the Loveday team, but for the whole AORC as it shows how much of an interest there is.

“We have worked really hard to create a challenging, yet entertaining course, and I am sure all crews will enjoy it.”

Taking place at the end of this month at Loveday Adventure 4×4 Park, the round will run as a three-day event with crews to tackle 10 laps of the 40-kilometre course throughout the weekend.

Beginning on the Friday with Prologue, crews will then complete the 10 laps across five to six sections over the Saturday and Sunday.

An official entry list will be in the coming week.

The Can-Am Loveday 400 takes place at Loveday 4×4 Adventure Park on 39-31 July.
