CAMS is excited to announce it has secured free-to-air coverage for the BFGoodrich CAMS Australian Off Road Championship (AORC).
AirTime Media will again partner with CAMS to prepare 30 minute dedicated shows following each round of the AORC to screen on 7mate.
An extended feature will showcase all of the action from the iconic Tatts Finke Desert Race round of the AORC.
CAMS CEO Eugene Arocca said securing a free to air broadcaster was a coup for the championship.
“This is an exciting development for Australian off road fans and competitors,” Arocca said.
“This is a great result for the Championship, as it provides free and easy access to some competitive motor sport action.
“It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Saul Shtein and his team at Channel 7 to finalise this arrangement and we can’t wait for the programs to air in the near future.”
Shtein, Channel 7’s Head of Sport, said he was excited about the new partnership that also includes the CAMS Australian Rally Championship and FIA World Rally Championship.
“Across the Australian Rally and Off Road Championships, as well as the WRC, there is going to be plenty of exhilarating action for viewers to soak up on 7mate,” Shtien said.
“We’re excited to be working with CAMS to deliver these products to television screens around Australia, and of course it’s all free.”
The first AORC episode will air approximately two weeks after the opening round at St George 399 in May.
