Entries soon closing for WAORC season opener

The 2018 CAMS Carnarvon Motel WA Off Road Championship kicks off with the GTurbo Rod Hatter Memorial Perenjori 360 on 2-3 March.

Competitors have just two weeks left to register via the CAMS Event Entry System for the first event, with entries closing on 12 February.

Organisers have added in new sections of track for this year’s Perenjori 360 – the fifth running of the event is one not to be missed for Western Australian off roaders.

The Perenjori 360 gives crews two and a half hours to conquer the dirt, sand and gravel terrain of each of the three sections, with the total competitive distance of all sections combined totalling 360km.

In a change for this year, scrutineering will be held at event naming rights sponsors GTurbo in Balcatta on the Saturday before the event. This will free up the race weekend to allow competitors to do the bulk of their racing in the cooler parts of the day.

The GTurbo Rod Hatter Memorial Perenjori 360 round of the 2018 CAMS Carnarvon Motel WA Off Road Championship is organised by the Off Road Racing WA Inc (formerly the Nissan Car Club of WA).
